Initial thinking
Research findings
From The research we conducted, the results we had we found the best genre to film was a horror, creepy thriller. A complicated story line and a creepy..
Initial ideas
Ideas from the group such as the creepy little girl and the stalking element was incorporated along with the “creepy” element. Collectively we decided to do a stalker themed movie. change of plan resulted in a slightly supernatural horror thriller.
I wanted to have the stalking of prey element and looked at the “levels” convention and wanted to encorporate it into the idea. Looking at Night and Light and the element of your “safe place” being invaded.
Etc.
Final idea
The final idea the group chose was a foreign set of twins or sisters to get adopted. But only one twin was adopted causing a disequilibrium this kick starting the plot. In the title sequence the adoption and the seporation is shown and then the disfunction of the remaining twin. The jurney home from the adoption centre shows a jitter and supernatural happenings happen such as a body switch of the one twin to the other, a jump sequence o fthe little girl walking by herself in the dark and jumpiing from one place to another. Arivig home she seems to stalk the mother and the adopted sister and she is un-noticed in the dark standing there menacingly. as the adopted twin is brishing her teeth her reflection is of the other twin brushing her teeth almost mocking her, staring deeply at her. An “exorsim” like freak out occurs and the murder of the adopted mother. The rest of the film collows non linear timeline and more and more is explained about the plot and finally equilibrium is restored at the very end.
